Design Notes
E. coli strain WM3064 is a mutant strain with a dapA gene mutation, resulting in a nutritional deficiency phenotype for diaminopimelic acid (DAP). In our team, we have a plug-and-play, biologically safe device was developed based on the nutritional deficiency of diaminopimelic acid and low oxygen (or anaerobic) induction.
